Eventually got out on my mountain bike yesterday, after what seems an age. Only covered about 20 miles. The route I took went from Matlock, over Beeley Moor with a good down hill section through Dingle Wood back onto the main road to Chatsworth and then up past Carlton Lees and onto the tops before returning home.

Looking across to Beeley Moor following the climb from Carlton Lees. New Piece Wood to the left.

Bought a Hudson KCC360 last month (was on offer from Decathlon). Huge inflatable kayak that can carry me and the kids and can easily fit in the boot of my car (deflated of course). Great fun!
